MEET THE TEAM
For each project, SJS dedicates an experienced Project Manager (PM) to supervise the project full-time from start to finish. The PM is supported by a back-end support team made up of a other Managers, Coordinators and a Project Accountant.
PROJECT MANAGER: THERON BURCH
Responsible for supervising all aspects of your project, from the preparations and meetings in our offices to the, coordination and control of the work from beginning to completion. Our Project Managers will be on-site two to three times per week to interface with the other trades and SJS staff on-site.
PURCHASING: KAREN TURNER
Responsible for all job buying including materials, labor and special tooling. Key to any project is making the right buys just in time to minimize storage issues, but not too late so as the jeopardize the construction schedule. But it’s not that simple. Delays in supplier production or shortages may require earlier buying, or having multiple and reliable sources of materials. No one wants to be stuck on site with delays and overruns. SJS experience counts in purchasing.
ACCOUNTING: LARRY G. MULKEY
Our full-time Accountant is responsible for running our day-to-day financial operations as well as coordinating the budgeting and back-end operations of your specific project. He oversees the project schedule, checks budgets, as well as verifies orders for accuracy.
ESTIMATING: THOMAS L. BURCH
Estimating is critical in the SJS work flow. Thomas makes sure your spec is possible with yoru budget. If it all works, the project moves ahead. If not, adjustments need to be made. With years of experience, he can recommend other options for your build. Could there be a way to get the same results at a lower cost? Or a better build for the same budget? That’s where SJS experience really counts.
